Turns Out, Your Walking Style Can Reveal Your Personality Type
Fast walkers
If you are a fast walker, there is a fair chance that you are highly outgoing and diligent. You are high on energy and typically a go-getter.
Apart from your attitude and personality, the way you walk can reveal your health problems. Someone who takes shuffled steps can indicate that they have Parkinson’s disease or other illness that affects locomotor abilities.
Slow walkers
People who walk slowly are too cautious about everything. Slower, shorter strides mean you are more self-centred (though not in a bad way). You are cautious and looking out for yourself.
Veer left
If someone is anxious in general or is feeling anxious at the moment, they might be more likely to veer (change direction suddenly) left as they walk.
Leisurely walker
If someone walks in a relaxed manner with their head up, it’s a sign that they are confident. A slow, easy gait shows self-assurance, confidence and lack of urgency.
Slumped shoulders
If someone walks slightly bent forward with their shoulders slumped, it means they are trying to protect their inner self.
