Rajasthan govt colleges to get 50 new courses from this session

JAIPUR: The department of higher education released a list of courses on Saturday, and as of the current academic session, the government colleges in Rajasthan would offer 50 new courses.

These courses will begin in one girls’ college and 49 coeducational institutions. Numerous science and business courses are included in this, such as Botany, Zoology, Urdu, Mathematics, Chemistry, Public Administration, Home Science, Geography, Sociology, Hindi Literature, Economic Administration, and Financial Management, among others.
In addition to other locations, the courses have begun in institutions in Jaipur, Pali, Nagaur, Bharatpur, Churu, Dausa, Sikar, Sirohi, Sawai Madhopur, Dholpur, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Alwar, Ajmer, Karauli, Banswara, Dangurpur, Pratapgarh, Rajasmand.

The department of college education has also proposed to build 115 lab classrooms for courses on practical subjects. The department of college has also said that guest faculty should be hired for these courses if any of the colleges do not have faculty and permanent faculty is available to teach.

In state government colleges, the undergraduate admissions process for the academic year 2022–2023 began on June 27. Students have until July 9 to submit their applications.
According to the Department of College Education in Rajasthan, the application’s online verification must be completed by July 11 at the latest.

The final merit list and a waiting list will be made public on July 13 and the deadline for submitting payments and verifying papers is July 18. On July 19, the first admissions list will be released, and the day will also see the subject distribution. The admittance schedule indicates that sessions will probably begin on July 20.
