Board of Secondary Education in Assam has issued a show-cause notice to over 100 schools after a dismal performance

After a dismal performance in the Assam 10th test 2022, the Board of Secondary Education in Assam has issued a show-cause notice to over 100 schools. This year, the overall pass rate fell to 56.49 percent, a significant decrease from the previous year.

On June 7, 2022, the Assam Board published the HSLC result 2022 on the official website, 2022, The SEBA cancelled the Assam 10th board exams last year because to the Covid-19 pandemic and announced the results using an alternative assessment procedure.

In 2021, 93.10 percent of students passed. “Twenty-five schools out of 102 had zero percent results. The principals/headmasters of 102 schools have received show-cause notices. We have requested that they respond in writing within seven days of receiving the letter “According to a report, Mamata Hojai , the Director of Secondary Education, said that, “Only 2,29,131 students out of a total of 4,05,582 students who took the Assam HSLC test 2022 were declared pass.”

The SEBA also revealed that 31 students’ results were withheld and 209 students were expelled. The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is anticipated to release the Class 12 results in the last week of June 2022, according to the most recent information. The date for the Assam HS result 2022 will be notified soon by the board.
